Maximum Quest Group was founded by Cedric Lewis in 1997 as a sole proprietorship under the name Capital Quest.  Initially based in New York City, the company relocated to the Washington, DC area in 1999 and incorporated under its current name. 

Originally, our company’s focus was exclusively on training and consulting for users of Business Objects software, which provided best of class support for on-line analytical processing in business intelligence applications.  Within its first five years, Maximum Quest Group delivered hands-on training to more than 6,000 satisfied end users in the U.S, Canada, Mexico, and Europe; and provided business intelligence consulting services to more than a dozen major corporations, including such internationally recognized names as Black & Decker, Chase Manhattan Bank, Ford Motor Company,  Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, Lucent Technologies, Mercedes Benz, Owens-Illinois General, and Sony Electronics.

In 2005, Maximum Quest Group became certified as small and disadvantaged business under the 8(a) program administered by the U.S. Small Business Administration and expanded its operations in the federal government marketplace.  We undertook projects with the General Services Administration CIO, the Public Building Service, and the Federal Aviation Administration.
